Please bring in your soup donations for the Lord of Glory Food Pantry between Sunday Jan 29th and Sunday, Feb 5th and place them on the table in the narthex. New Rule this year!!! ONLY soup in a CAN will count for your team this year! GO SOUP!
Youth Spaghetti Dinner
Bring your sweetheart to enjoy a quite, romantic dinner on Sunday, Feb 12th. O, GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD, FOR HE IS GOOD!
On Sunday, December 4th, 125 Lord of Glory family & friends were part of the 1,002 volunteers from 5 Christian churches that packed 202,176 meals for Feed My Starving Children. This one day provided enough meals to feed 553 children for an entire year! An additional 75+ volunteers assisted with greeting, hospitality, parking, registration, prayer, set up and clean up.
Thanks for helping Lord of Glory meet our financial contribution goal of $4,575. With each meal costing only 24 cents, we are sharing God’s love in the physical form of over 19,000 meals. A special thanks to our anonymous doner who generously matched funds to help us reach our goal.
YOU CAN STILL HELP!
This food will soon be distributed in poverty stricken countries, such as Haiti and Jamaica. Please pray that the meals will arrive safely and provide much needed nourishment to the bodies and souls of these starving children. For more udpates, visit: http://www.fmscgrayslake.org/.
